Abs Workouts at Home
Don't have time for the gym but longing to have those six pack abs that lots of other men envy? Good news for you because you don't really have to hit the gym just to get those ripped abs that you want. In fact, you don't even need money in order to buy special equipments that will tone your abdominals, because you can do abs workouts right inside the comfort of your own home, and with no unnecessary charges. All you need is patience, discipline, and lots of stamina. One of the most recommended abs workout is crunches, and with good reason. It is a basic abs exercise, since you can do a lot of different variations just by using basic crunches as a foundation. What you need to do here is to lie down, bring your upper body forward using your abdominal muscles, resulting into a bent, V-shape body position. Just doing a certain number of crunches per day will aid you in your quest to toned abs muscles. If you have an exercise ball, you can use it to make a variation of the basic crunches. Called the exercise ball crunch, it works just like the basic crunches, except that you are lying over the exercise ball instead of a flat surface. You should do the crunch slowly to keep the ball from moving. What's great about this is that your back is supported while doing crunches, and it allows you to keep a good crunch speed. Are you ready for a more intense abs workout? Try the full crunch, which involves puling yourself up while pushing your extended legs outward. The full crunch does not only give you a great abs workout; it also exercises both your upper and lower body. For a less strenuous abs workout, you can try the reverse crunch of V-up. Instead of bending your upper body towards your legs, you put your legs up in the air and bend them back towards you. The great thing about this is while it is less tiring, the effect is the same-fully toned abs muscles to die for. |
